We are excited for Spring!

Spring brings longer, warmer days, green in the trees and fields, and the horses can shed their winter blankets to bask in the sunshine.

SBF Sunny on a warm day.

Spring also brings Annual Health check-ups for the herd. The cost per horse is $300-$500 for this required care. We need VET BILL sponsors!

SBF Sadie receiving dental treatment for her worn out molars. She cannot chew hay and lives on a special diet.

Each horse requires vaccinations, physical exams, bloodwork, dental exams and floating.

Winter 2023 update!

Hello everyone!

What a strange and warm winter we’ve been experiencing in Connecticut. I’m not complaining about the warm temps, sunshine, no snow and neither are the horses! The horses are enjoying a beautiful February afternoon, dozing in the sun, munching on hay and are shedding those winter coats. The days are getting longer and we are counting the minutes until Spring when we can set some dates for tours, clinics and ground classes. We hope you are all well and able to get outside and enjoy your day! -Amy Gardner Anderson, Founder.

Vendor Fair 2022 Success!!!

What a great day!
Despite the monsoon weather conditions, we had a full house of vendors and shoppers for our 2nd annual Vendor Fair.

An incredible amount of work to organize and put on the event was accomplished by volunteers who started planning in July!
Corporate Sponsors Torrison Stone & Garden and Cahill Septic donated services and contributions to support the fair.
Melissa Hill Home Design put in a zillion volunteer hours organizing the event. Jill Bonaiuto Garrity was a tremendous help as always and everyone enjoyed the music of Tim Kosky.
The folks from @fallsbrookfarmct pitched in and braved the rain with their food truck.
Sumner Brook Family and Board members ran the raffle, handled the parking in pouring rain, and hung in there until the clean up was complete.
Many, many, many thanks to all of you!
See you in December 2023!
Amy Gardner Anderson
